Skull Matcha Waffles
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tbsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp matcha powder
- Maple syrup/waffle syrup to taste
- Powdered sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Heat up your waffle maker.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine eggs, sugar, milk, and oil. Whisk together.
- Add flour, baking powder, matcha powder, salt, and mix until combined.
- Lightly oil your waffle iron. Add 2 tbsp of batter into the skull.
- If using the DASH waffle maker, cook for at least 4 minutes and remove.
- Repeat with remaining batter.
- Finish with toppings of your choice and enjoy! Makes about 10 skull waffles.
